At times life is dark and cold
Having you has always made it better
When the walls close in and the floor seems to fall from under me
You’ve been there as my friend and helped me up
Without you in my life…it would be darker than it is.

So beautifully, truthfully, and soulful worded. How very fortunate we are to be blessed with a loving soul-mate and perhaps a handful of trusted friends who make those darkened days so much brighter.
